Policies for Little Otters Swim School

At Little Otters Swim School, accessible from www.littleottersswimschool.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Little Otters Swim School and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Little Otters Swim School. Make-Up Lessons:

We do not offer make up lessons for last minute cancellations. If you give 24 hours notice and we have other open time slots we will try our best to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee a make-up session will be available.

Inclement Weather:

During periods of light rain or showers, classes will continue. However, if there is any sign of lightning or thunder, the instructor will end the lesson and a make-up lesson will be scheduled for that class.

Supervision:

A parent or guardian of each student must be at the lesson location if the student is a minor. The instructor reserves the right to end the lesson for that student if no guardian is present and the lesson will be charged to the client.

Refunds:

Refunds will not be issued for unused days with us. You will however receive a credit for unused days to be used anytime you wish to return.

Late:

If you arrive late to your lesson, we will do our best to give you the full lesson time however, we can only guarantee the remaining time of your scheduled lesson if there is another student right after your time.

Swim Diaper:

Any child not potty trained must wear a disposable swim diaper.

Liability Waiver:

I agree and understand that swimming is a HAZARDOUS activity. I recognize that there are risks inherent in the sport of swimming, including but not limited to, paralyzing injuries and death. The participant of Little Otters Swim School agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Little Otters Swim School and its coaches against any liability resulting from any injury that may occur to the participant while participating in Little Otters Swim School. The participant also agrees to indemnify Little Otters Swim School for any damages incurred arising from any claims, demand, action or cause of action by the participant. The participant authorizes any representative of Little Otters Swim School to have the participant treated in any medical emergency during their participation in Little Otters Swim School. Further, the participant and/or parent/guardian agrees to pay all costs associated with medical care and transportation for the participant. I have informed Little Otters Swim School via email to Jadeslittleotters@gmail.com of any medical/health problems of which the staff should be aware.

Photography Release:

I understand that photos and/or video are occasionally taken within the Little Otters Swim School. Little Otters Swim School may use photos and/or video of my child(ren) for publicity and/or training purposes. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF POLICIES AND PROCEDURES I have carefully read the liability release, photo release, and policies and procedures set forth by Little Otters Swim School. I am signing with full knowledge of its contents and significance.
